INFERRED ANAGRAMS V
Joseph Appel
One interesting aspect of an anagram pair is how the two words relate to each other in context. By inference, can you extract two context-related anagrams from the clues below. For example, given the clue,
That space rock landed in a desolate area.
The two related anagrams would be METEOR (space rock) and REMOTE (desolate area).
1. The salamander traveled to Salamander Land.
2. She wore a small crown into the open-air rooms.
3. She could do an ice skating jump, but not fix the wheel-supporting rod in her car.
4. "The way you abusively insulted that pizza guy was totally out of proportion to how long it took him to get the pizza here."
5. The kings rules for life; he cannot voluntarily leave his position.
6. A frightening number of people are living on the edge, financially.
7. His sharp, sarcastic humor did not allow for being temporarily inactive - mentally.
8. Use circumspection at a public sale, or you might buy something you don't want.
