1. The largest parking lot in the world (certified in the Guinness Book of World Records) is the one at The West Edmonton Mall in Alberta, Canada. Capacity: 20,000 cars
 
2. Taking second spot in parking lot capacity is the one at  Seattle - Tacoma (SEATAC) International Airport. Capacity: 13,000 cars. It is also the largest parking structure in the world under one roof.

3. The average Major League Baseball game lasts 3 hours - in which there is an average 18 minutes of activity (other than pitching and catching).

4. After 88, all the numbers are spelled with at least one N.

5. The term "Ivy League" - as in schools - is a misnomer. The term does not come from ivy-covered walls, even though that is what it means today. The IV originally was the Roman numeral four - standing for Harvard, Yale, Princeton, and Dartmouth.

6. The Roe River near Great Falls, Montana is the shortest river in the world - at just 201 feet. It was certified in the Guinness Book of World Records, though that category has been eliminated.

7. Taking an elevator in Europe might be confusing for an American. The 1st floor in the United Sates is called the ground floor in Europe. So the first floor in Europe would be the 2nd floor in the U.S.

8. The slowest animal on earth is the three-toed sloth, and the fastest is the peregrine falcon - capable of reaching a speed of 240 mph.
