The answers to the clues below are stressonyms - words or phrases in which the stress (accent) shifts from one syllable or word to another. For example, a fruit bowl is a bowl of fruit - as on a table - with the stress on fruit. But in the question, "Did you ever see a fruit bowl?" - the stress could be shifted to bowl to create an image of a piece of fruit bowling.
