THREE RHYMING RIDDLES 

1)

My first two, as it pleases, 

   may fly away;

My third's goal may be

   to reach its prey.

My whole's effect is to 

   lead one astray. 

 

2)

I have no fingers, but I 

   do have a ring;

Dogs bark when they 

   hear me sing.

I introduce visitors, though

   not by their names;

Children misuse me in their

   games. 

3)

My first is born of fire and heat.

My second makes rooms discrete.

My whole may be a temporary defeat.
