This puzzle has two parts. 

Part 1:
The phrases below have something in common - indirectly. The puzzle title is a hint, and it is shown below the clues.

1. Public spectacle
2. Beast of burden
3. Stage hands
4. Analogy solver
5. Black Jack dealer
6. Helicopters, at times
7. Absent-minded  people

HINT I:
Puzzle title: CHEST OF DRAWERS
HINT II:
Illustrator could be added to the list of clues. 
 
Answer to Part I:
 
All the clues name things that DRAW things.
 
Part 2:
What do each of the things in the clues draw? For example, an illustrator draws pictures.

2. A beast of burden draws a wagon.
3. Stage hands draw curtains.
4. An analogy solver draws comparisons.
5. A Black Jack dealer draws cards
