CRYPTO CLUES VI

Cryptic clues are answered with answers disguised in wordplay. For example, the clue, Colonist runs off animals, could be answered by ANTELOPES. An ant is a colonist (ant colony), runs off can be ELOPES, and ANTELOPES are animals.
