CRYPTO CLUES VIII

In a regular crossword  puzzle, the clue "unconventional protagonist" might be answered with "antihero." In a cryptic crossword, the clue might be "unconventional protagonist in an on-the-air broadcast." The cryptic answer would still be "antihero," but it is enhanced by "antihero" being an anagram of "on-the-air."
