The February, 2022 issue of Reader's Digest marked the magazine's 100th anniversary. To honor its fellow centenarians, the September, 2022 issue recognized the following 100-year-old products and places:

Newberry Medal - which honors outstanding children's literature

Eskimo Pie - chocolate-covered ice cream bar (renamed Edy's Pie in 2021)

Gummy Bears - invented by Hans Riegel for his candy company, Haribo

The Rose Bowl Stadium - in Pasadena, CA has hosted the New Year's Day football game every year since, with two exceptions: in 1942, due to fears of another Japanese attack following Pearl Harbor, and in 2021, due to COVID-19 restrictions.

Centre Court at Wimbledon - which is only used for Championship matches

The Velveteen Rabbit

The Lincoln Memorial
