INCOGNITO VIII
GAMES/World of Puzzles
September, 2022
Stephen Sniderman

The answer words in this puzzle have cleverly disguised themselves as (sometimes nonsensical) two-word phrases. Your mission is to reveal their true identities by changing only two letter per phrase - one in the first word and one in the second word - and eliminating the space. For example, given the phrase INDIGO HATING: By changing the D in INDIGO to V, and the H in HATING to R, you would get INVIGORATING - after eliminating the space.

The newly transformed letter in the second word of one phrase is the same letter you'll need to insert in the first word of the phrase that follows it. In the example above, the new letter in the second word was R. If the next phrase were ATTIC HOME, you would replace one of the letters in ATTIC with R. In this case, the answer word would be ARTICHOKE, and K would replace one of the letters in the first word of the following phrase.

1. BAR ARGUES
2. COT SCIONS
3. MINDS CURE
4. ANTICS IMAGES
