Each clue below contains a definition of the answer, but it also contains a description of the answer through wordplay. For example, the clue Plant study could be answered by Botany in a regular crossword. In a cryptic puzzle, the clue might read, Boy covers brown plant study. The answer is still BOTANY (plant study), but it is disguised as the word BOY covering (surrounding) TAN (brown) - BOtanY.
