Can you think of a an adjective-noun phrase that answers the clue, such that the noun is a a perfect echo of the final syllable or syllables of the adjective - although the spelling may be different? For example, a disagreeable milieu is an upsetting setting, a beige gang is an ecru crew. The same clues are given in a much easier form below the first set of clues.
