OXYMORONS VIII

Oxymorons are figures of speech in which words with contradictory meanings and associations are used together. They may seem illogical at first, but in the context of the sentence in which they are used, they make sense - drawing the reader's attention to a point or idea ("Parting is such sweet sorrow."). Oxymorons may also simply be curiosities of language (press release).
