RECONCILABLE DIFFERENCES V

GAMES Magazine

Change one letter in each word in the left-hand column to a new one. The result may or may not be a word. Put these letters to the front or back of a word in the right-hand-column to make a longer word. For example, with LAPSE in the left-hand column and EL in the right-hand column, the A in LAPSE could be changed to I (LIPSE). These letters could be added to the back of EL to get ELLIPSE. The longer words will all be in the same category, and the changed letters, shown in ( ), reading down, will spell another word in that category. As a hint, the category is shown below the answers.

1. OUR             ORE
2. SEAS            GONE
