Consonantcy is a type of wordplay developed by a member of the National Puzzlers' League (NPL). Consonantcy between two or more words or phrases means that they share the same consonants, in the same order, with any number of vowels before, between, or after them - Y being treated as a vowel. The words acorn, crayon, occarina share consonantcy because the same consonants (c, r, n) are found in the same order in each word.
In the flat below, the keywords ONE, TWO, THREE share consonantcy.
I watch my health, for Heaven's sake.
I write down fat and ONE intake.
I eat my veggies, like TWO stalks.
I exercise and take my walks.
But when I find I'm all alone,
I sneak filled THREEs (and then atone).
Answers:
ONE - CALORIE
TWO - CELERY
THREE - ECLAIR - - - The shared consonants are C, L, R.
