What do the following words have in common?

ALERT: The first two words can be offensive.

1. OREO
2. APPLE
3. RINO

Answers:

1. An insult to a Black person that he is Black on the outside, but white on the inside - that is, not true to his Black heritage and culture (similar to an Oreo cookie)

2. An insult to a Native American that he is red on the outside, but white on the inside - suggesting that he not true his Native American history and culture.

3. RINO - An acronym standing for REPUBLICAN IN NAME ONLY - a derisive term within the party to identify someone considered not conservative enough to be a Republican
