Dear Readers,

It is approaching 18 years since I started this blog. Now that it has logged more than 1,000,000 hits, I feel that I have reached a sort of milestone. I am grateful (beyond words) for your support over the years. But I am also curious. I really don't know who you are.

Please send me a comment telling me where you are in the world, how you use this blog, and if you want it to continue. I think I have a core following of 100 or so readers who log on every day and who have been with me from the beginning.  I would very much like to know what you enjoy about the blog and your own interests in language. Are the many others of you students? English speakers? Do you use the blog for an assignment? 

Is there anything I can do to make the blog more interesting or relevant? Is it getting boring - repeating the same types of puzzles?  I love words and word puzzles, but I am seriously wondering if I should continue the blog as it is. I truly hope to hear from you.
