FIVE RHYMING RIDDLES

1)
Tiny metal soldiers spaced with pride,
Two long rows lined side by side;
A single stroke will decide
If they unite or if they divide.

2)
It goes up and at the same time down,
Up toward the sky and down toward the ground;
It's present tense and past tense too,
Come for a ride --- just me and you.

3)
Here on Earth it's always true
That tomorrow follows today;
Yet there's a place where it's true to say
That yesterday also follows today.

4)
Be your vision ever so keen,
By your eyes we're never seen;
Unless perchance it comes to pass
You see us in a looking glass.

5)
Always old, sometimes new,
Never sad, sometimes blue;
Never empty, sometimes full,
Never a push, but always a pull.

HINT:
1. The direction of the stroke -- up or down -- will determine unity or division.
2. You might find one on a playground.

Answers:
1. A zipper
2. See-saw
3. In a dictionary
4. Your own eyes
5. The moon
