The answer to this riddle has a hole in the middle,
And many have been known to fall in it;
Though not seen or heard, without smell or taste,
Yet there is no mistaking we perceive it.
It is sometimes won, and sometimes lost,
And lucky are they who receive it;
It's found in odd places, like gloves and clover,
And for many without hope, it helps us start over.
