FIVE RHYMING RIDDLES
From What Am I? Vol. 1
Zack Guido
1)
You, just you, can walk with me,
But I will have to run;
Where we are when we begin,
Is where we are when we are done.
2)
I come by the dozen,
And by thirty, too;
Sometimes even thirty-one,
But never thirty-two.
3)
I'm quick and go un-noticed;
I happen less often when you're focused.
I protect you thousands of times per day,
With my twin I toil - and without pay.
4)
I have blades, but not for shaving;
Shaped like oars, but not for rowing.
I hang, I stand, I swivel, I sit
A tiny motor keeps me going.
5)
I'm a whole that's made of holes,
I may be short or long.
I may be high, I may be low;
I'm held up by measured poles.
