PICTURESQUE SPEECH IV
From Reader's Digest

1. Diploma - Remembrance of things passed

2. Graduations would be nicer,
    If the speeches were conciser.

3. It came upon an evening clear,
The TV show you saw last year.

4. He reached his wit's end after a very brief journey.

5. Though photographs at middle age
Are said to do us justice,
It's mercy that we really want -
    The justice just disgusts us.

6. Why is George Washington
    Held in such veneration?
    He never blamed his problems
    On the previous administration.
