The words in each group below can be confused. Can you give a simple definition of each one that shows the difference between them?

Answers:
1. SUPINE - Lying on your back
PRONE - Lying flat on your stomach with the face downward
PROSTRATE - The same as prone, but in an attitude of submission or reverence
PROSTATE - Medical term - a male gland
2. JIVE - Slangy, exaggerated, flippant talk, - especially when used to deceive
JIBE - To be in harmony, agreement, or accord
GIBE - Jeer, taunt, scoff
Probably due to the similarity in spelling and pronunciation,
JIVE is also used as a variation of JIBE.
JIBE is also used as a variation of GIBE - even though they are near opposites.
3. DIE - Stop living - DYING
DYE - Change color - DYEING
