ODDS AND ENDS

The words ARE, CAME, and RODE are well known examples of one-syllable words that become three-syllable words by the addition of one final letter:

ARE- AREA
CAME - CAMEO
RODE - RODEO

Can you think of another one-syllable word that also becomes a three syllable word by the addition of a final letter, but the original three letters have to be re-arranged?

HINT:
Both words are related to music.
